Quote and booking
A quote request is not a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed only after you approve the written quote and Stripe confirms the 10% deposit payment.
10% booking deposit
The deposit is 10% of the approved total and is credited toward the job price. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable to the extent permitted by law because it reserves the scheduled crew, vehicle capacity and date.
If Vanguard cancels
If Vanguard cancels and cannot provide the agreed service, the deposit is refunded in full to the original payment method. Bank processing times may apply after the refund is submitted.
Remaining 90%
The remaining balance is released for payment only after the job is marked complete and the final walkthrough has occurred. The same private booking link will show the amount due.
Scope and price changes
The approved total covers the written scope. Any material change to inventory, access, distance, timing or requested work must be agreed before an additional amount is charged. Vanguard will not alter a paid deposit amount through the customer’s browser.
Rescheduling and customer cancellation
Use the contact channel on your written quote as early as possible. A reschedule is subject to crew and vehicle availability. If the booking cannot be rescheduled, it is treated as a customer cancellation and the deposit policy above applies, subject to law.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer rights can apply where a service is not provided with due care and skill, is unfit for its stated purpose, or is not supplied within the agreed or a reasonable time.
Payments and records
Payments are processed through Stripe. Vanguard does not receive or store full card details. When you continue to checkout, acceptance of the current terms version and the acceptance time are recorded with the booking. Stripe receipts and the booking reference are the payment record. If a payment appears incorrect, do not pay again—contact Vanguard using the written quote.
